Netflix's first anime take on Castlevania ended with the recently released fourth season. But the streaming service isn't done with the Castlevania just yet. In April, word broke that a Castlevania spin-off was in the works, and now we have even more info on what you can expect from that. The Castlevania spin-off will be set during the French Revolution, and focus on Richter Belmont, a vampire hunter, and descendant of Simon Belmont and Juste Belmont.

During Day 5 of Netflix's Geeked Week it was announced that while Castlevania's fourth and final season is now streaming, this isn't the end of the Castlevania universe. A new animated series starring Richter Belmont and Maria Renard is on the way from executive producer Kevin Kolde, director Sam Deats, and assistant director Adam Deats.
The Castlevania Universe is getting even bigger.

‘Castlevania' Spinoff About Richter Belmont, Maria Renard Ordered at Netflix

Netflix has ordered a “Castlevania” spinoff series focused on Richter Belmont, the son of Sypha and Trevor, and Maria Renard set in 1792 France during the French Revolution, the streaming service revealed Friday.
“Castlevania” launched in the late 1980s as an action-adventure gothic horror video game series about vampire hunters. It was created and developed by Konami.
The spinoff announcement came during the final day of Netflix's “Geeked Week.”
